Introduction
The experiment Colored Lights Affect Plant Growth is going to show . Each color has a different role in plant development. This project is going to prove that each color of the rainbow, affects a plant in different ways. I will conduct this experiment to prove that each color has a different impact on how a plant will grow. Only one color will is the most important because it is the one to make a plant bloom, or maybe none of them will work because you need two lights combined to make one bloom. I am going to conduct this experiment to prove that this is not the case.
I hope to learn about which color does what job. I do know that red and blue light are favorites in plant growth. I also want to learn where the other colors come into plant growth. From research, I learned that red will make a plant bloom, and blue will make a plant very leafy. I know green will not work because plants reflect green, not absorb, so that’s why they appear green to the eye. I am using the colors red, blue, green, yellow, and regular light. I know red and blue are probably going to be really close, but I’m not sure about yellow? So it might turn out different then what I expected, but I will have to see when the experiment is done.
If my prediction is correct, the red light will make the plant bloom the fastest. From research, red light will make the plant bloom, thus, reproduce. It might not be leafy, because that is what blue does, but it might just be enough to reach 2 inches. Red has the better chance of making the plant grow the fastest.
