Procedure
1. Gather all the materials in front of you
2. Put on your gloves and pack the soil in each container about 5 inches up
3. After that, plant the seeds in the container, spread out to fill whole container
4. Water the seeds with 1 quart after you plant them, DO NOT over water them at all during the experiment, stay with about a cup and water the whole container
5. Set the light bulb on the correct time of sunrise, and sundown. Make an estimate.
6. Place the light bulb overtop the container; make sure it lights up the whole container, not just half. It can hang over top, or be connected to the lid.
7. Take a picture of day 1, and then however long it takes to get 2 in., take a picture when fully grown. Make sure you take one of each container.
8. Place the containers in a dark space where no sunlight can reach it.
9. Every day from then on, water them with the correct amount of water around the same time each day.
10. When the seeds start sprouting, use the ruler and measure in inches, how tall the grass is getting. Record in log book how tall, and describe what has happened.
11. Once one of the grass containers reaches 2 in, record in logbook the winning color of light.
12. You may throw away any old materials you no longer need, and if possible, RECYCLE!
